Welcome to the Human Rights Journalists Network Nigeria (HRJN)
Defending Human Rights,
Empowering Communities
ONE INDIVIDUAL, ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME
At HRJN, we are committed to empowering communities and media professionals to promote and protect human rights across Nigeria. Our mission is to provide the tools, resources, and support necessary for journalists and communities to effectively report on human rights issues and drive positive change.
Join us in our mission to enhance Human rights journalism, documentation and advocacy in Nigeria.
There are many ways to get involved:

Advocating for the rights of journalists and citizens to express themselves freely and without fear of retaliation.

Highlighting issues of gender-based violence, discrimination, and advocating for equal rights and opportunities for all genders.

Bringing attention to the plight of children facing abuse, exploitation, and lack of access to education and healthcare.

Reporting on environmental issues and advocating for policies that protect the environment and the communities affected by environmental degradation.

Investigating and exposing corruption in all sectors to promote transparency and accountability.

Ensuring that the voices and rights of minority communities are heard and protected against discrimination and marginalization.
